Read the fabric. Keep the comfort.

The best material for a resting spot depends on where it sits, how your dog settles, and how you plan to clean it. Our collection uses several different constructions; there is no single care method for all of them.

Soft surfaces: plush, flannel, and corduroy

Plush adds a deeper texture; flannel has a softer, more even surface; corduroy brings a visible rib. These terms describe the feel or weave, not a promise that every item has the same fiber content. The product specifications identify the fiber or filling when those details are available.

A long pile can hold loose hair, while a smoother surface can be simpler to brush off. Choose a texture your dog already seems comfortable resting on and check the individual washing instructions.

Flat foam pads

A foam bed has a defined thickness and a separate outer layer. When a removable cover is described as machine washable, that permission applies to the cover. Do not assume the foam core can go in a washing machine. Compressed foam needs time to expand; follow any included unpacking directions.

Mesh and frames

Elevated mesh beds have a resting panel suspended above the floor. Check the frame dimensions, height, assembly method, and any stated weight limit. Clean and inspect the panel, joints, and feet according to the supplied instructions. A raised frame still needs a level, stable place in the room.

Rattan and wood structures

Woven rattan and plywood-frame beds bring a furniture-like structure. Avoid soaking a frame or putting it in a washing machine. Keep it away from persistent dampness, and follow the item’s care directions for any separate cushioning. Inspect woven edges and joints for damage.

Before the first wash

  1. Read the selected product’s care information and the label included with the item.
  2. Remove loose hair and separate removable components only as instructed.
  3. Use the stated washing method. If temperature, detergent, or drying instructions are not given, ask us rather than assuming a hot wash or tumble-dry cycle is suitable.
  4. Let every layer dry fully before reassembling. Check seams, fasteners, foam, and frame joints before putting it back into use.

No fabric is suitable for every chewing habit. Stop using an item if it becomes damaged, and keep loose filling away from your dog.
